Artists for Charity (AFC)

Fundraising, Outreach/Promotions & Volunteer Support

The Event: The 2nd Annual Party With a Purpose was held June 6, 2008 at Django Gypsy Kitchen and Saloon in Atlanta, GA. The event raised funds to support the operational costs of the Artists for Charity Children's Home, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The goals of the event were to attract over 300 attendees and raise $10,000.

Services Provided: ShadowBlossom, Inc. (SB) provided the following pre-, during, and post- event assistance to AFC:

Outreach/Promotions: SB developed and distributed an Evite invitation, Save the Date, Corporate Donation Letter, Thank You Letter to supporters, Post-Event Email and Post-Event Press Release.

Event Feedback: SB crafted a survey to seek real-time feedback from participants about the event. AFC will use the results from the survey to improve the next annual event.

Volunteerism: SB provided volunteer support for the actual event.

Event Outcomes: Although the goal of 300 attendees was not met – approximately 150 persons attended – AFC exceeded the fundraising goal of $10,000 by raising over $12,000.
